Project: Your start to the year

The most popular resolutions for the new year have to do with a healthy lifestyle. The main topics include: healthy eating, movement and balance. The overarching common goal is an improvement in general wellbeing. But the majority of Germans fail to achieve their goals. This is because it takes a lot of effort to permanently change your lifestyle. The main reason for this failure is a lack of motivation and the wrong strategy.

Project: Your start to the year

But now is exactly the right time to make sure you have a happy start to the new year. Seven days – from 28 January to 3 February 2019 – that aim to inspire you and introduce small changes that will improve your wellbeing. A week in which you learn how to stay on the ball - all without any pressure to succeed. This is where Gerolsteiner comes into play as an inspiring partner with realistic goals. The focus is on enjoyment and inspiration. Do something good for yourself!
What’s good about it is that anyone can get involved and turn their personal start to the new year into a project. Gerolsteiner provides exciting tips and tricks on the right diet in winter, motivation for movement and just the right inspiration for well-deserved breaks. Daily mini-challenges introduce new ideas and the best thing about it? They can easily be integrated into your daily activities.

Participating is easy: anyone who wants to get involved can register from 10 January 2019. From all the registrations that are received by 19 January 2019, we will join together with Gerolsteiner to draw 10 winners of a week’s supply of mineral water.
This is a total of 18 litres per winner, divided into four six-packs of handy 0.75-litre bottles – ideal for when you’re on the go. This equals a liquid intake of 2.5 litres per day.

How do you win? Just send an email with your name and address to the following address: Jahresstart@SAPIA-HOTELS.de

Insider tip!

My tip is a visit to the Museum of Energy in Hottingen (I live nearby). Situated a short distance from the Hottingen district in the municipality of Rickenbach, it attracts hikers who enjoy spending their break discovering something new and interesting on the topic of “Energy in the region” through the many window displays, as well as visitors who are keen to find out more during its opening hours. It is open every Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Entry is free! The castle ruins in Wiladingen are also worth a visit. The ruins are hidden away and can be accessed by a pleasant circular trail that takes about 1-2 hours. There are also places to buy a refreshment or two.
