Bike hire/e-bikes tour of the Black Forest
Our e-bikes let you get out and explore the idyllic High Rhine region, high into the mountains and picturesque villages in the southern Black Forest. Hire one of our modern e-bikes for a day or week from April to October in Bad Säckingen.
The electric motors on the e-bikes let you enjoy nature and the landscape in comfort and make sure that you have fun exploring without placing the focus on sport and endurance. If you’re up for it, you can of course turn the motors off.
The bike hire is available to all and our hotel guests receive a discount.
The prices:
- EUR 29 per day/bike (hotel guests just EUR 23)
- EUR 179 per week/bike (hotel guests just EUR 139)
Every additional day EUR 10 (one day means: pick-up from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, return on the following day between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm)

Insider tip!
My tip is a visit to the Museum of Energy in Hottingen (I live nearby). Situated a short distance from the Hottingen district in the municipality of Rickenbach, it attracts hikers who enjoy spending their break discovering something new and interesting on the topic of “Energy in the region” through the many window displays, as well as visitors who are keen to find out more during its opening hours. It is open every Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Entry is free! The castle ruins in Wiladingen are also worth a visit. The ruins are hidden away and can be accessed by a pleasant circular trail that takes about 1-2 hours. There are also places to buy a refreshment or two.
